Yoho Lake is situated in York County, approximately 30 km southwest of Fredericton. Its Surface area is about 131 hectares and the land area of the watershed is about 842 hectares. The mean depth is 3.66 meters, with a maximum depth of 11.3 meters, and the flushing rate is 1.9 times a year.

The S.P.E.C.S. Neighbourhood Watch! serves as the means for accessing information that relates to the citizens living on or in the vacinity of Starlite, Pinecrest, Eaglewood, Cobblestone, and Somerset (S.P.E.C.S.) subdivisions.

Hanwell and New Maryland Astronomy Group
The Hanwell and New Maryland observing group is an ad-hoc group of local residents who belong to the William Brydone Jack Unit (WBJU) of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada's New Brunswick Centre. The WBJU meets in Fredericton on a monthly basis, usually the second Tuesday of the month, and on other dates for observing sessions or special events. The New Brunswick Centre meetings are held here twice a year.
