Garbage collection is provided by Trius and the collection of recyclables is provided by Trius.

We met with a representative from the Solid Waste Commission regarding recycling. The decision to implement the blue box program was already made. We were not an advisory committee at that time so we didn’t have any input.

We have asked for feasibility studies and a cost analysis, however, we have not received any reply. We have just recently received a reply to our query regarding the amount of the tax increase to cover the costs of recycling.
