Looking For Volunteers For Age-Friendly, Rural Planning, and Environmental Stewardship Committees – 2023

1 ~ AGE-FRIENDLY COMMITTEE:

The Age-Friendly Committee meets monthly to discuss ongoing strategies of making Hanwell an “age friendly community”. Their focus is mainly residents aged 50 and up, however they include all ages in their discussions.

2 ~ RURAL PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE:

The Rural Plan Review Committee meets as required to review and provide recommendations to Council on Rural Plan By-Law revision requests as well as provide advice on the Rural Plan for the Rural Community of Hanwell.

3 ~ ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE

The Environmental Stewardship Committee will meet monthly to discuss strategies for the protection of the environment for the Rural Community of Hanwell.
