On August 20, 2022 Geocaching Headquarters is calling all geocachers to break the record for the most explorers out caching or on an adventure in a single day. The record they are trying to break has been in place since August 11, 2013. It is an ambitious goal! We can do our part in helping to fulfill this goal by coming together and logging a Cache Find, Adventure Lab Location or Event in one single day. August 20,2022 is also International Geocaching Day so event attendees will earn a Digital Souvenir. We are looking forward to seeing you at Hanwell Recreation Park. The logbook will be at the Information Kiosk. Representatives from Capital Region Association of Geocachers(CRAG) will be onsite to answer any questions you may have about CRAG or Geocaching in general, as well as to engage in general geo-chatting. There are 15 caches to be found in the beautiful Recreation Park and many more to be found in the Hanwell Rural Community. Be sure to check out this link to learn more about the Recreation Park: https://hanwell.nb.ca/recreation/hanwell- recreation-park/. There will be a draw for prizes at 11:30am, which will include a one year membership to CRAG. Following that, there will be a group photo. We hope to see you there!
