Our physical well-being is important; just as important is our mental health. Now, more than ever, we are each dealing with change, fear, and uncertainty brought on by COVID-19 and other situations beyond our control.
Today, on Bell’s “Let’s Talk” day, we are reminded to take a moment for our own mental well-being. Let’s also take a look at the person next to us and offer a kind word, let’s think before we speak or react to a stressful situation, let’s support one another and remember that actions and words can hurt or help – choose to help.
A great resource for New Brunswickers is BounceBack. It is a life skills program designed to improve mental health through self-guided online delivery and coaching. It is free for NB adults 19 and over to guide them in overcoming mild to moderate mental health concerns.
There is no shame in reaching out for a helping hand when its needed. And remember that you are not alone.
