We would like to inform residents of our upcoming curbside recycling transition.
Starting May 1, an enhanced recycling program is coming to New Brunswick and Hanwell Rural Community, which will deliver a convenient, consistent, and effective recycling system that will improve recycling rates.
This transition is managed by Circular Materials – a national not-for-profit organization committed to building an efficient and effective recycling system in New Brunswick.
There are no changes to the materials you can recycle or your collection day.
Residents will still be able to recycle their packaging and paper materials in the same way they currently do (there are no changes to accepted materials and no weight limits). There are also no changes to their current bin or bag that is used curbside.

Along with the transition of curbside recycling services, Circular Materials is partnering with a network of Eastern Recyclers Association redemption centres to support the recycling of additional materials. This includes glass, flexible plastics, beverage cardboard and white polystyrene foam.
